Renowned porn star Ron Jeremy has been charged with raping two women and sexually assaulting two others, the Los Angeles Attorney General’s Office has said.
He appeared in court for the first time yesterday. Prosecutors have sought $ 6.6 million bail.
The actor allegedly carried out those attacks from 2014 to 2019. The women were between 25 and 46 years old. He faces up to 90 years in prison if convicted on all four counts.
One of the victims is a 25-year-old woman who, according to the indictment, was attacked in a house in the West Hollywood neighborhood. The other attacks took place in a bar in the same neighborhood in Los Angeles. The second rape attack took place on a 30-year-old woman, and 33- and 46-year-old women were charged with sexual assault.
Ron Jeremy, 67, is one of the biggest names in the history of the porn industry. He started his career in the 1970s and has over 2,000 films behind him.
